“ We had a delicious breakfast this morning! I only like to eat out when its something I can't make better at home and my raspberry ricotta pancakes was just that!! The kids menu was great, lots of sweet or savory items to choose from. My husband also enjoyed his eggs benedict. Tip!! Get on the waitlist before you head out, it works great! Pretty busy and noisy, my child was ready for quiet by the time we finished eating. ”
“ I’m really glad we were able to get a table, as this place gets very busy on Sundays for brunch. The poutine I ordered was surprisingly filling, which is rare for me, so I appreciated the generous portion. My only complaint is that the beef short rib seemed underseasoned or perhaps needed a longer marinade—it lacked flavor. The Salmon Benny was similar to what you'd find at other brunch spots in Calgary. Our server was excellent, and overall, we had a great experience with no major complaints ”
“ We had mushroom pesto parmesan , Barbacoa beef short ribs and caramel apple pancakes. They were so delicious and staff were super friendly. Make sure to join their wait list online during weekend before leaving home. It’s gonna be one of our regular places for sure! ”
“ What you’re looking at is the Honey Chili Chicken & Waffle (24), Caramel Apple Pancakes (21), and Vietnamese coffee (6.9). Drinking Vietnamese coffee is a game changer. I thoroughly enjoyed it, super creamy and delicious. The chicken and waffle was easily some of the best food I’ve eaten in Calgary so far. It’s a corn waffle and the chicken was marinated before fried. To add, there was a pickle slaw. PICKLE SLAW. I don’t think I can eat regular coleslaw ever again, I’m converted. You can tell that everything is house made: the hollandaise, waffles, and chicken. My ONLY gripe was that this waffle wasn’t as spicy as I expected. It was barely spicy. But wow was this savoury dish delicious. Now onto the best tasting dish ever. Brekkie’s Caramel Apple Pancakes. This is the type of meal you eat on your death bed, it’s that good. I’m talking THICK, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, house made apple pie filling, brown butter caramel custard, and not too sweet real whipped cream. If you eat anything in Calgary, let it be this dish. It had us scrapping the plate clean. Brekkie put a lot of Saskatchewan restaurants to shame with this one. If you plan on going, make a reservation. It fills up quite fast and parking can be atrocious. ”
“ The best brunch spot in Calgary! The service is spectacular and friendly, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food is so delicious, both sweet and savory, exquisite! The waitlist is 100% worth it. The pancakes are out of this world: fluffy, soft, full of flavor and freshness. I love it! If you're thinking about going to Brekkie, don't hesitate! Thank you, Brekkie! ”
“ My wife and I recently visited Brekkie for breakfast, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. Despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being quite busy, we were able to get a table right away, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with festive decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was our first visit, and we decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. I ordered the Classic Brekkie, which included 4 sunny side up eggs, sourdough bread, double smoked bacon, and a medley of hand-cut crispy potatoes. My wife, who follows a keto diet, opted for 2 poached eggs, bacon, and a salad. I also had a black coffee, which I found decent. The food came out quickly and was very good. While we didn't order anything too complex, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. The ingredients were fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. The cozy setting of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu. Brekkie has certainly earned a spot on our list of favourite breakfast spots! ”
“ I don’t even like pancakes, but I can get suckered into anything if it looks cool enough. I thankfully ordered the pancakes and they not only looked amazing but we’re the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The cake part of it was very dense and not like regular pancakes and the outside of the pancakes had an amazing crispness. The whole dish was excellent. My wife got the chicken and waffles and they were also amazing. Good coffee as well and I’d love to try and figure out how to make those pancakes ”
“ I had an amazing experience & I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast! I ordered an Eggs Benedict and it was simply divine. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the coffee was top-notch too; rich and flavorful, just what we needed to kickstart our day. Overall, Brekkie is a fantastic spot for breakfast. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu! ”
